Indo American Chamber of Commerce

Executive Vice-PresidentStrategic Leadership and Innovation

Mr. Prashant Krishnan

Stork Electronics Pvt. Ltd.

An entrepreneur from his early ages, Prashant Krishnan founded STRONICS in 1985 with the vision of establishing a leading IT product distribution company. Despite being a start up at the time, Krishnan through his strong relationship-building efforts, managed to successfully develop partnerships with major industry leaders such as Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, John Deere, and SKF, driving significant business growth and positioning STRONICS as a trusted name in the industry.

From 2005 to 2011, Prashant expanded STRONICS’s service offering into the Training and Recruitment sector to bridge the gap in skills demand being faced by major institutions like Infosys, Wipro, and EXL. Due to the high quality of training and support being offered, STRONICS became one of the leading BPO training centers and trusted partner for many major companies.

After having achieved great success in different sectors, Prashant wanted to make an impact in the environmental sector and hence in 2012, he launched the solar energy division. This initiative saw an impressive portfolio of clients, including prestigious institutions like Pune University, CME, and other defense accounts. The company’s solar solutions gained recognition for their quality and impact, further solidifying its reputation in the renewable energy space as well.

The lockdown turned out to be a creative time for Prashant , where he decided to take up a new challenge and set up a new initiative ’Regenate’ – a forward-thinking company focused on waste management solutions. He has since conceptualized and patented an innovative waste management system, which has already been successfully implemented with key clients such as KSB Pumps, Pune University, and BBMP.

Prashant has had a very long relationship with the IACC not only as an active member but has been the Pune branch Chairman and the Western Indian Chairman as well. In his new role as the National Vice President, Krishnan, is looking forward to further strengthening economic ties between India and USA through innovative and strategic business partnerships
