Dear Friends and Colleagues,

First of all, let me take this opportunity to thank you for the trust you have placed in me by giving me the responsibility of Chairman of the Gujarat Branch of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC). I accept the responsibility with great humility and respect and assure you that I and my team will do our best to exceed your expectations over the next 12 months.

Friends, IACC is the pre-eminent chamber dedicated to promoting closer trade ties between India and the US, and the Gujarat Branch will continue its endeavour to work for furthering ties between the two countries.

Our home state Gujarat has been attracting investments from all over the world, including the US. There is a growing interest in the fields of alternative energy, automobiles, EV and ancillaries, startups, etc. I and my team will dedicate our efforts to ensuring Gujarat remains the preferred investment hub for American companies.

The IACC Gujarat Branch will also strive to provide a suitable platform for the meeting of minds and exchange of ideas and knowledge by inviting domain experts to events such as seminars and other programmes on a regular basis over the next year.

Friends, I would be failing in my duty if I do not mention the excellent work done by my predecessors. I thank them for their efforts and look forward to their support and continued guidance. I look forward to setting new goals and furthering the various initiatives those before me had launched.

I also look forward to working closely with all of you and seek your support and cooperation to take our agenda forward and contribute to the growth of the country.
