It is a privilege to serve as the Regional President of the South India Council at the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC). I accept this responsibility with deep gratitude and a strong commitment to advancing the Chamber’s mission of strengthening Indo–U.S. economic cooperation.

South India continues to be a vibrant hub of innovation, entrepreneurship, and industrial growth. As we look ahead, our focus will be on deepening bilateral trade between India and the United States, with particular emphasis on empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). These enterprises are the backbone of both economies, and by encouraging partnerships, technology exchange, and joint ventures, we can unlock new opportunities for sustainable growth and resilience.

To align with the National President’s vision for the year, the South India Council will actively work its initiatives through the SIX sub-committees formed to :

Strengthen SME capabilities and enhance their global competitiveness.
Facilitate meaningful B2B engagements and trade delegations.
Promote sector-specific collaborations in manufacturing, renewable energy, IT, and healthcare.
Encourage innovation, sustainability, and cross-cultural understanding through Indo–U.S. partnerships.

CONFERENCE HALL & BOARD ROOM FOR RENT

Indo American Chamber of Commerce, Chennai office offers fully functional well-equipped Conference hall and a Board Room. Both the Conference hall and the Board room are available for rent on a short period for members of IACC at a 25% discount.

Facilities offered:

1	Approximate total carpet area of the conference room is 660sq.ft.and board room is 250 sq.ft.
2	Conference hall Seating arrangements are flexible and the same can be modified as per requirements.
3	Conference hall & Board room has a motorized remote controlled projector screen along with a LCD Epson projector.
4	Conference hall & Board room has a good access to washroom area, pantry area and main exit.
5	If the venue is utilised beyond the hours rented, rates will be charged on an hourly pro rata basis.
6	Except for Air-conditioning and Projector facilities, UPS Power back up is available for lights and fans.
7	The clients should make their own arrangements for Coffee, Tea or Lunch.
8	Food is restricted in the Conference Hall & Board room and is allowed only in the pantry area.
9	Based on the availability, your reservations will be blocked and confirmations sent to you.
10	There is no parking available for four wheelers.
11	Two weeks advance intimation of any cancellations is required.
