Roundtable Deliberation on Indo – US Trade Barriers
June 27, 2019; KPMG Office, Mumbai

The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), Western Region invites you to participate in “Round Table Deliberations on Indo-U.S. Trade Barriers” in the morning of June 27, 2019, 9.30 am onwards, at the KPMG Office, Mumbai. This will be followed by lunch.

India and the U.S. have strong business connections and the U.S. is India’s second largest trade partner after EU. In fact, American companies in India are a majority of all foreign companies operating in India. However, American companies face hurdles frequently when doing business in India and there is increased concern about changing regulations, tariff barriers and unpredictability among other things. On the flip side Indian companies doing business in the U.S. face a dry of unique issues again including non-trade barriers, trade tariffs, and change in favoured trade nation status among other things.
During the round table deliberations leaders from American companies and Indian companies will identify pressing issues and the IACC in conjunction with KPMG shall present some of that critical issues to relevant stake holders in the Indian and U.S. Governments. Our presentation will also suggest potential solutions. Other attendees at the round table deliberations will include company Chairmen and CXO level officers to participate in this high-powered brainstorming session to better identify the hurdles and potential solutions.

For further details about the program and to register participation please reach out to Rakhi Panda, the IACC- WIC Regional Director at +919699091155 or email her at rakhi@iaccindia.com.
