The recent passage of the tax reform by the US Congress is regarded as the largest change to the tax laws in the US since the 1980s. The implications for US and multinational businesses across industries are vast and will be widely felt.

To guide you through these sweeping changes in the US tax landscape, the Indo – American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) is delighted to organize an exclusive Knowledge session on “Impact and Opportunities arising from the US Tax Reform on Multinational Corporations – a new paradigm for doing business in the US” in partnership with the Atlanta headquartered international firm, KNAV P.A. This session is scheduled on Friday, February 9, 2018 between 02:00 p.m. and 04:00 p.m. (lunch @ 01:00 p.m.) at Hotel Le Royal Meridien, St. Thomas Mount, Chennai.

In this session, experts will provide insights on the key US Tax reform provisions including NOL limitations, interest deduction limits, the base erosion tax and tax accounting matters impacting financial reporting of US inbound multinational companies with a focus on practical considerations and planning opportunities. The session will also focus on the tax implications on mergers and acquisitions in the US.
