Jayanth Murthy, Director, Kaizen Institute India & Middle East and Founding Director, Kaizen Institute Africa. Jayanth has over two decades of experience in the field of Kaizen/ Operational Excellence/ Lean. Helping organizations ‘IMPROVE’, best describes his professional passion and domain expertise.
Coaching, Consulting, International Presenter/ Speaker, Business Process Advisor and Entrepreneur best describes the roles he commits to.
He has presented/ coached/ consulted in the Kaizen/ Lean/ Operational Excellence domain across thirty four countries (34) covering Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, Russia and CIS and the Middle East.
He is the founding partner and director of the Kaizen Institute (Africa business unit) and partner and director of the India Business unit. The Kaizen Institute was founded by Sensei Masaaki Imai (www.kaizen.com).
He is an Industrial Engineering and recipient of the Japanese AOTS scholarship (Osaka, 1996) and a Fulbright Fellow (Leadership in Management – Carnegie Mellon University, USA, 2005).
Presently he is focused on growing and managing the Kaizen Institutes operations across India, Africa and Middle East. He has been instrumental in the design and development of a specific model to drive Kaizen within the Public sector and Governments and has been actively engaged with the Government of Gujarat (India), The African Union, Government of UAE, Government of Tanzania, Botswana and Mauritius.
