Volatility of exchange rates affects value of a company’s operating cash flows, income statement and its competitive position. The impact is all the more pronounced for organizations that have significant exposure to global trade. This has led to a requirement of a broad based, active and liquid FX derivative market to provide a basket of hedging instruments for effective management of FX exposures.
Keeping these points in view, Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) is organizing a Colloquium on “Forex Risk Management” to be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 between 10.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. (followed by lunch) at Hotel Le Meridien, Chennai for the benefit of members. This program is conducted in association with National Stock Exchange (NSE).
The following topics will be addressed by the speaker from NSE:
• Introduction & Overview of Global FX Markets
• FX markets in India
• FX Risk Management
• Product Features: Exchange Traded Futures & Options
• Hedging Tools
• Alternate Hedging Platforms
Registration Fee (per delegate):
A nominal registration fee will be charged for members of IACC to cover the administrative and lunch expenses for this event.
