Dear Friends,
The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) in association with KPMG is organizing an Interactive Workshop on Global Mobility of Employees - Issues & Challenges.
As international business dealings proliferate, it is becoming more common for employers to send their employees on assignment abroad. Such employee transfer create challenges regarding compensation and ensuring that taxation, social security, immigration and other concerns are addressed. These challenges can be turned to the employer’s advantage if handled correctly so that the individual’s international transfer becomes less stressful. Due to various challenges, this area is becoming a contemporary area and a host of MNCs, corporate houses as well as firms aim at gaining more clarity on the subject. The Chamber has decided to address this timely issue by bringing together experts from the Government as well as industry on a common platform.
