Ani Agnihotri Honored by Atlanta Business Chronicle
The Atlanta Business Chronicle held on October 04, 2013 named Anurag “Ani” Agnihotri, founder and managing partner of the Atlanta,
Ga.-based U.S.-India Business and Research Center, a finalist for the Governor’s International awards.
Anurag “Ani” Agnihotri, founder and managing partner of the Atlanta, Ga.-based US India Business and Research Center
and program chair of the USA India Business Summit, was a finalist in the individual of the year category at the Atlanta
Business Chronicle’s Governor’s International awards.
John Eaves, chairman of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, won the top prize in the category at the Georgia
International Convention Center in Atlanta. Agnihotri has worked with the Georgia Department of Economic Development,
the Metro Atlanta Chamber and universities and colleges to develop business relationships between the Georgia and
India.
The Indian American was instrumental in the signing of a memorandum of understanding in February 2013 between
Karnataka and Georgia. Agnihotri also organized a supply-chain conference in Atlanta in a partnership with the Georgia
Tech Center for Business Education and Research. The fourth annual USA India Business Summit recently drew 370 people
to Atlanta to hear presentations from many business leaders from India and the U.S.

Wipro receives Helen Keller awards
IT major Wipro today said it has been recognized as a role model organization and honored with the Helen Keller award.
It also said the National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP) also conferred the 15th Hellen
Keller Award to Wipro employee Ankit Rajiv Jindal.
Instituted in 1999, the NCPEDP-Shell Helen Keller awards every year honors individuals or organizations who are working
towards helping people with disabilities and help them find positions of equality and dignity at the workplace.
On its employee Jindal, on whom Hellen Keller Award was bestowed, the company said he is the first marketing manager
with visual impairment at Wipro and was hired from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University in 2011.
