IACC organised this program in association with Pepper Hamilton, LLP and Nishith Desai Associates. The program consisted

Desai Associates.
Pepper partners enlightened the participants as to how a subsidiary can be created in the United States considering
parameters like the types of legal entity, the process for incorporation, tax considerations and liability of Directors and
Officers. In session 2 they shared their outlook on identifying the pitfalls of acquisitions of middle market privately-owned
companies, with a particular focus on the Technology and Outsourcing sector. Both the sessions were followed by an
interactive session and Q&A respectively. The participants received a good opportunity to bring up issues of concern and
interest to them which were addressed to.
The event was well received and ended with presentation of appreciation memento to the pepper partners and Mr.
Nishith Desai and a vote of thanks by Ms. Rajyalakshmi Rao, Vice-President, IACC-WIC.
