Interactive/Business Meeting with Mr. Franklin L Lavin US Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade and members of the International Trade Administration Business Development Mission 5th December, 2006 – New Delhi

Dear Friends,

We are pleased to inform you that to carry forward the process initiated by US President Bush’s India visit in March this year for promoting Indo-US commercial and economic cooperation, Mr. Franklin L Lavin, Under Secretary for International Trade, US Department of Commerce, is leading the largest ever high powered business development Mission of over 200 members to India in end of November 2006.

To provide an opportunity for meeting Mr. Lavin and the members of his delegation, the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) is organizing a luncheon meeting with Mr. Franklin L Lavin on 5th December, 2006 from 12.00 to 2.00 p.m. at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi. Due to security reasons, participants are requested to be present at the venue by 11:45 am.

In Delhi, Mr. Lavin will be accompanied by a 20-member business delegation. Their business interests are enclosed.

Members of the business delegation will also be available for one to one meetings over lunch. May I request you to kindly join us for this interaction with Mr. Lavin and indicate your interest in meeting the business delegation?

In order to meet a part of the expenses, a nominal fee of Rs.1500/- per person is being charged from members and Rs.2000/- from non-members, payable by cheque or DD in favour of Indo-American Chamber of Commerce. As we have limited seats available for the event, may we request you to kindly send us your consent along with the participation fee at the earliest?
